A modern take on 'King of the Hill', Olive Avenue follows Roy Strofferson and Nate Riley, 2 decidedly average but unique teens/young adults growing up in South Central Pennsylvania in the late 2010's. Keeping sane through tech nerding, peculiar PA predicaments, 0 football team win schools, and old folk obscura, the series follows situations the duo ends up in.
On the back end, things are brewing worldwide as strange occurrences hit the news every few months. Lake Michigan running dry for 2 hours, GPS miscalculations, New Zealand disappearing and reappearing, government tax and deed websites frequently jamming from sporatic mass information overwriting.
Like billions of other people, Roy and Nate have bigger priorities to worry about. College, COVID, and inflation through 2021. That is, until one fateful night in December sends the duo's life off the cliff and into the pit... or rather space... of unknown. All from a little... goat creature from a not too well known Nickelodeon cartoon. And a... science facility from upper Michigan?
